Default HDSLR - Handle Guide - 03-08-2010, 03:00 AM

Here's a guide I posted over at skateperception.com (community dedicated to skateboarding filming and photography). I recently picked up a Canon Rebel t1i to mess around with and I wanted a handle to do some low-grip, follow shots. After some hunting this is my list.

Cheap, plastic, blocking your lcd. Theres the X-grip AKA Camcaddie
Opteka version --->http://opteka.com/xgrip.aspx

Cheap, simple, go with the swandle.

For 20 Bucks more and an actual cage check out the IndiSquare

You can add some rails, coldshoes and all that if you want.

For about 150-190 you can go with my personal favorite so far, the media cage cube.
This one's slick with foam handles, and two cold shoes already mounted.

If you've got some cash lying around, or you actually do this for a living you might want go for the Easom cage

I honestly believe every sane photog should be a strobist.
