I liked the idea of the second element, but I thought it did took away some of the focus of the primary element (Logo). I'm still not sure about this...

I've been thinking too...should I change "Outdoor" to Nature and change "Michael" to Mike? I photograph landscape, wildlife and on occasionally a old building/man-made structures. As for my name. Nobody calls me "Michael" unless I'm in trouble!

Well done.

If it were mine....and this is purely personal taste...I'd put a tiny bit of weight to the main text with a itsy bitsy shadow or a hairline around it in a 10% darker shade of the same green. Just a hint of pop. But that would be my own taste.
