Hey there guys...

I was curious to see if there was anyone out there that would be interested in helping post festivals and other cool photo-op events such as air shows, car shows, firework displays etc on our CPF Event Calendar for all members to utilize.

Reply here in this thread or send me a PM if youre interested... like i mentioned i'll prolly select a few people to help head up this area in various cities/towns/regions etc. There is no pay involved... sorry, just a cool colorful nifty title under your screen name ... Statesman or something to that effect... I am also working on a couple of other perks but nothing in stone yet...

I am hoping to recruit several members that would be willing to help out in this arena as I feel it can be a great benefit to our entire memberbase. There will prolly be a hidden section so that these members can discuss methods and links etc of finding these event pages and such.

Calendar Entry Example:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Fresno: Fireworks Celebration
Date: Friday, July 4, 2008
Time: 4pm-10pm Fireworks start at 9:30 pm.
Tickets: $8.00 at the Gate after 5pm, $5.00 before 5pm. Children Under 10 are free.

Location: Tinsley Park @ Buffalo Bayou ... just west of downtown along Allen Parkway

Live Concert: Sara Evans, Miranda Lambert, Jo Dee Messina
Fun Activities: All American Kids Zone, Bud Zone, Chevy Liberty Park, NASCAR Exhibit, Five Music Stages.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Most of all of that info is located on the link promoting the event so it’s a simple cut and paste in to the calendar system...

Thanks a ton guys!

Lemme know if this is something you'd be interested in...

I added a few events over the next two weeks for northern Ca. Here is one of my favorite "event" websites for anything and everything in northern Ca.
