The image looks busy and it's kind of difficult at first glance to figure out what I was looking at. The wording with the mirrored effect is something I like, but I would loose the baby blue color on then end. .

I like the reflection, but I had the same difficutly as Scott at initially determining what was the name. I kind of like the blue color, but it does draw the eye to the dot com portion of the logo - way from the name. Maybe make the Digitalinvision blue or a gradient (blue to the gray dot com).

I think that you may want to drop the picture. For me, it takes some looking at it to see/understand what the image is. Dropping the picture will allow you to use a larger text font.

i dont want it to look simple with the text only, i want people to know what digitalinvision is, there has to be an image related to photography

Patty, I understand and agree that you want the immediate tie to photography. To me the image you have does not immediately make that connection - when I first saw the image, I had to really look at it to see the camera. It could also be my eyes and/or monitor (or not enough coffee).

It looks like DIGITA Linvision to me. I would break the two words into two colors, maybe blue/gray/blue DIGITALinvision.com something like that. Although I'm not really 'feeling' the cap/lowercase in this case. I would lose the last version...with the embossing.

EDIT: One more thing...If you're going to use a photo as part of your logo, can you print that on a t-shirt? Probably not. You might consider either removing the photo or design a logo without a photo as a graphic.

I like the second one better - more of the reflection is seen.

Neither. I don't care for the reflection. It's too distracting.

at one point you stated, "i want people to know what digitalinvision is, there has to be an image related to photography" then came up with a logo that, while appealing, doesn't seem to convey that. going back to your original concept with the photo, why can't it just be a camera rather than someone using a camera? as for the text, digital is pretty clear, but what does "invision" mean (just looking at it as words)? is it a misspelling of invasion (sorry, just gotta go there)? perhaps the segregation of words would be clearer - digital in vision - if you were to increase the font size of the 'v' just a bit.

I prefer the last grey one but with larger font.
This is only because it reminds me of NW coast Indian art, which I happen to really like.
